C300 is very sleek & compact at dimensions of 18.8mm in deep, 44mm in wide & 94mm high when the slide is closed. C300 has a slide mechanism which is semi automatic and sheer pleasure to use. The Samsung C300 is available two colors : silver and black. C300 has a matt & glossy finish with a two tone color scheme whcih makes the handset dashing and highly attractive. C300s comes with a large 1.77 Inch screen with a screen resolution of 128 x 160 pixels at sixty five thousand colours. Irrespective of the state of the slide ( open or closed) the display shows up to seven lines of text. C300 is a dual band mobile supporting GSM 900 & GSM 1800 frequencies in 2G networks.
The phone comes with a text caller identification which allows the user to see who is calling when a call comes in. The Samsung C300 will store a record of missed & received calls which allows the user to access their frequent & missed callers easily. The mobile phone comes with a voice mail feature which allows callers to leave a voice mail message when the user can not take the call.
C300 has the functionality to record and store upto five voice memos for personal remiders. Each voice memo can be upto 30 seconds long. C300 has a WAP 1.2 Internet for accessing the Internet.
C300 has an office quality speaker and has support for ployphonic ringtones.
The uTrack feature built into C300 will alert a preset number if the SIM card is changed. The uTrack feature will help the user recover their mobile phone if it is lost or stolen by alerting the user of the location of the handset. C300 also houses a SOS message feature which will alert your emergency contact numbers when the your are in dire need of some help.
The C300 has an internal memory of 2 Mbytes. C300 enables EMS, MMS and SMS communication. The miscellaneous features of C300 include an alarm clock, calculator, currency converter, games & a phone book which will store up to one thousand contacts at any one time. The fitted battery provides up to 7.6 hours of talk time or up to 493 hours of standby battery time. The battery provides the user with a large amount of standby time which means the user will not have to recharge their handset too frequently.
The Samsung C300 mobile phone seems to have forgotten something or should we say loads of things. The C300 is a very basic phone and if you do not like high tech gadgetry and all the jargon then this phone is for you. This is what we call simplicity, this slide up phone is pretty stylish and comes in an array of colours and most important point to this phone has to be the cheap price.
