Watch TV broadcasts on your mobile with Nokia's N92 3G handset. There's also Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth for connectivity and an external memory card slot for recording your favourite shows. The Nokia N92 is the first TV mobile in the Nokia Nseries range.
Measuring in at 98.6 x 51.2 x 25.8 mm, and weighing 139 grams, this clamshell phone is a bit large and heavy. The main screen is a anti-glare 2.8 inch QVGA display with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution and up to 16 million colors. The second display is a small 128 x 36 pixels 65 536 color display. The pixel resolution of the main screen is about the same as in the other new Nseries, but the N92 screen supports more colors. The display quality is excellent and the user interface elements are very smooth. N92 is a Tri Band (GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900) mobile.
TV Shows come through crystal clear as the N92 contains a DVB-H (digital video broadcast for handhelds) receiver, rather the patchy video streams we've seen from 3G networks. The N92 is different; everything about it, from the screen ratio to the design of the buttons to the speakers, is planned with television watching in mind. Rather than being a novelty or a way to fill in the time on a train, the live broadcast offering is like having a mini television in your pocket. You'll even be able to see where that cricket or base ball lands.
The N92 has a strong emphasis on video and supports common formats including MPEG4, Windows Media Video and Flash, while transferring and accessing videos is fast with a USB 2.0 connection and WLAN and HSDPA support. To play music, this device will feature dedicated media keys, a 3.5 mm headphone connector, and built-in 3D stereo speakers. Utilizing the large screen, the display can be orientated in landscape making it ideal for watching video and or surfing the Web. Additionally the N92 also features a 3.5mm headphone connector, as said before, and built-in 3D stereo speakers so you can share music on the go. The N92 comes with a built in stereo FM radio complete with RDS feature.

The N92 includes an integrated 2-megapixel camera with a 4x optical zoom and flash, plus a rotating viewfinder. Flipping the screen to its side automatically changes the orientation of the image to landscape mode, while rotating it upwards automatically puts the phone into camera mode. The integrated digital camera allows you to record high-quality videos in MP4 format at 30 frames per second and with 640 x 480 resolution.
N92 has 40 Mbytes Memory Plus MicroSD™ Memory Card Option. The messaging services include text-messaging, email supporting POP3, IMAP4 and SMTP, multimedia messaging and instant messaging. The N92 has S60 software for the built in Symbian operating System. The 3G Smart phone does not fail to impress with all the new phone technology. The N92 features EDGE technology to provide fast data transfers and 3G HSDPA technology for quick efficiency. The WLAN Wi Fi lets you have much needed wireless connection. It also has Bluetooth and USB connection. The N92 makes it easy to share your media with friends via a TV-Out cable and UPnP support. N92 has 4 Hours Talk Time and 336 Hours Standby.
The battery can't cope with watching videos for extended periods, so you need to recharge the phone every day. Also the widespread deployment of TV transmission for mobile phones does not seem to be implemented real soon. The Nokia N92 3G smartphone is definitely a major step towards a new arena of portable digital entertainment.
